I am currently an Assistant Professor of Physics in the Physics Department at Syracuse University. Prior to arriving at Syracuse, I was a post-doctoral scholar at the California Institute of Technology dividing my time between the Tapir Group and the LIGO Laboratory. Before that I was a PhD student in the UWM LSC group at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. My dissertation topic was Searching for Gravitational Radiation from Binary Black Hole MACHOs in the Galactic Halo. I graduated from the The University of Newcastle Upon Tyne in 1999 with a Master of Mathematics degree. Before my two years in the mathematics department, I completed three years of the M.Phys Theoretical Physics degree in the Department of Physics at Newcastle.
